Pastor Aaron Spangler began serving Alamance Lutheran Church on April 7, 2025. Alongside his parish ministry, he currently serves with the North Carolina Army National Guard as a Chaplain. He holds a degree in Religious Studies (B.A.) from Purdue University and a Master of Divinity from Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary. He and his wife are from Greenwood, IN. His passion lies in community ministry and creating a church where all people are affirmed and welcomed to fully participate in the life of faith. Outside of ministry, Aaron enjoys competitive weightlifting, the arts, and history.

Director of Music Ministry
Beth Jordan is a lifelong Lutheran, born and raised in Texas (go Cowboys!). She studied at Texas Lutheran University and Concordia (Mequon) University. Beth teaches Lower and Middle School Music at The Burlington School and has a thriving private voice and piano studio. She enjoys cooking, hiking, reading and spending time with Zuzu the Kitty.

Angeles Camacho Benitez holds a bachelor's degree from the University
of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has continued her accounting
education at Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC). With
experience in administration, finance and accounting, Angeles brings
strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to
excellent service. Angeles learned about the position through the current Parish
Administrator during the 2026 tax season and was encouraged to apply.
She is excited to support the church's daily operations and financial needs.
Growing up in a Spanish-speaking church, Angeles developed an
appreciation for faith communities and the diverse backgrounds they
represent. She values opportunities to help foster welcoming and
inclusive environments where people feel connected and supported. She
looks forward to using her experience and skills to support the
mission and ministry of the church.
