From Greensboro or Durham, take exit 143 and follow NC Hwy 62 south from Interstates 40/85. Alamance Lutheran Church is located on NC Hwy 62 in the village of Alamance on the left after crossing the Great Alamance Creek bridge.

Parking and Entering Our Church Building

Our church building is located in the historic north mill village of Alamance, NC on a slope above Great Alamance Creek. Parking and building entrances have evolved through the years in an historic setting and can be confusing for our visitors. Please know that all are welcome and members would be glad to help direct you in our church building and parking areas.

Parking

  • Our main parking lot is located on the north side of our church building. Visitors should enter the parking lot just north of our church sanctuary and exit the parking lot through our overflow parking lot on the north side of the vacant lot next to our sanctuary
  • Handicap parking is available on the south side of our church building. The smaller south parking lot is accessible via our south driveway between our church building and bungalow-style parsonage.

Entering Our Church Building for 8:30 Contemporary Worship

Our 8:30am contemporary worship service is held in the chapel on the south side of our church building. Visitors can park in our main (north) parking lot or in our handicap (south) parking lot. The chapel can be reached either by taking the steps at the backside of our church building (near the cemetery) up to the south church door near our parsonage or by entering through our basement fellowship hall and following the signs to our chapel.

Entering Our Church Building for 11:00 Traditional Worship

Our 11:00am traditional worship service is held each week in our sanctuary on the north side of our church building. Our sanctuary can be entered through the main front doors under the columned portico in the front of our sanctuary or by entering through our basement fellowship hall and following the signs to our sanctuary.
