Alamance Lutheran Church sits on 26.5 acres and is blessed to have two beautiful worship spaces, the Chapel and the Sanctuary. We make use of both spaces for Sunday worship, so it is best to check the signage on our doors when you arrive to determine where service will be held that day, check the church calendar, or follow us on Facebook where we post on Saturdays where worship will be held on Sunday.
ALL ARE WELCOME…..COME HOWEVER YOU ARE.
The Chapel is on the south side of the building. It is the original worship space built in the early 20th century (don’t worry – it has heat and air conditioning now!). It is a smaller, more intimate space. If you park in the north side lot behind the church, the Chapel can be reached either by taking the steps at the backside of our church building (near the cemetery) up to the south church door near our parsonage or by entering through our basement Fellowship Hall and following the signs to our Chapel. HANDICAPPED ACCESS: There is a ramp which can be accessed from the south entrance handicapped parking lot.
The Sanctuary is on the north side of the building. This part of the church was built in the late 1950’s and the Sanctuary includes a beautiful pipe organ. Our Sanctuary can be entered through the main front doors under the columned portico in the front of our building or by entering through our basement Fellowship Hall and following the signs to our Sanctuary. HANDICAPPED ACCESS: There is a ramp which can be accessed from the north entrance parking lot, or you can use the ramp from the south entrance handicapped parking lot.
