Noisy Offering

The Noisy Offering is one more way we do ministry to the poor and also teach our children the importance of giving and serving.  On the last Sunday of each month, they take brightly colored sand buckets into the congregation to collect the spare change that was gathered during the month. Each year the Christian Education committee selects two different charities to support with this special offering.  In the first half of the year we give it a local group, in the second half it is directed to a global appeal.  The children eagerly await this Sunday and participate energetically.
